Five Star Electric completed a simple swap of a light switch from outside a closet to inside. They were efficient and did a good job. I plan on using them again in the future.

Antonio came for estimate the same day I called. He sent estimate when he said he would. He and his crew showed a little before their promised start time and completed the electric installation for my detached garage in one day. Antonio provided support through the inspection process, and now the install is green tagged and operating.
I enjoyed doing business with 5 Star because they did what they said, and made sure the job was finished to my satisfaction.

I've used Antonio before and I'll use him again. Arrives when he says he will, knows what he's doing and does it at a very fair price. Very pleased!

Antonio and his team do EXCELLENT work from the beginning to the end of job. The crew showed up for the job 15 minutes ahead of schedule which is great as not many companies do this. They worked like a team of surgeons and completed the job to my satisfaction. They are polite and very professional. I will continue to use Five Star Electric for any electrical need I have and I highly recommend them. THANK YOU for the Exceptional service.

Very quick and very honest along with good work, they answered all my questions and made sure I was aware of everything. They helped with getting power turned on in a home I’m remodeling, and I wouldn’t go to any other company for anything else that comes up in the future.

Excellent communications from Antonio and his team at Five Star Electric with prompt response to my initial phone call and updates with appointments. Our client needed four Google Nest Floodlights with Cam, Google Doorbell and a Google Nest Learning Thermostat installed at their residence. Antonio and his team were professional and installed all items to electrical code with attention to aesthetics. Highly recommend Five Star Electric and would gladly use their services in the future.

Electrical Help Center
Frequently asked
electrical questions.
We know you have a lot of questions about electrical systems
and electric wiring problems. We answer some of the most
common questions here.
First, check for tripped breakers and reset your
main breaker. If the main breaker is warm to the
touch, call our
qualified, licensed electrician
immediately.
If resetting the breaker does not fix the problem,
it is possible you have lost one phase, or leg, of
your main power supply. Contact your utility
company and have the company inspect its service
line for problems.
At Christmas time, outdoor lights frequently trip
a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter outlet or a
circuit breaker. A standard breaker may trip if
the electrical wiring is
overloaded with too many lights.
Moisture from morning dew, rain or sprinklers can
also cause a ground fault. Unplug the lighting,
reset the circuit breaker and check GFCI outlets
in the bathrooms, basement, garage and outdoor
areas. If the circuit trips again, contact an
electrician.
A GFCI is an electronic device system included in
certain electrical outlets. It interrupts the
electrical current when it detects a ground fault,
helping protect people from serious injury caused
by electric shock.
When a smoke detector chirps intermittently, it
is usually signaling that its backup battery needs
to be replaced. If replacing the battery does not
stop the chirping, call a qualified, licensed
electrician.
Surge suppression devices can be installed in the
main service panel and sub-panels by a qualified
electrician. When combined with point-of-use
protection, these devices provide the best defense
against power surges associated with lightning.
These devices are typically sacrificial and may
require replacement after experiencing a
significant lightning strike.
